Duplex Pipe and Fittings Properties
Duplex stainless steel was developed to combat the corrosion caused by chloride and other aggressive chemicals. It is composed of equal portions of ferrite and austenite. Super duplex stainless steel contain and even greater chromium content in order to endure more caustic solutions like acid and acid chlorides.
